Tips to Surviving a Long-Distance Relationship!
So those of you who don’t know me personally, probably have no clue that a) I’m married, and b) my husband and I met years ago in my homeland of Bosnia & Herzegovina, and c) we spent a huge portion of our relationship long-distance. Long story short, Ned happens to be from my dads hometown, a small town in the Herzegovina side of Bosnia. We originally met in 2010, which also happened to be my first time going back home since we moved to Canada in ’95. We briefly dated in the summer of 2011, and didn’t speak again until late 2013! Two years later we were married (it’s our…
JASON Dry Spray Deodorant – Review
I love when I receive surprise PR, especially when it’s something like deodorant because I seem to frequently forget that things like deodorant are part of beauty too and hey Una…maybe someone wants to read deodorant reviews? Typically, I use stick deodorant. I find that it holds its scent longer and definitely helps with perspiration way better than a dry spray does. At times I DO buy a dry spray, it’s usually Dove. Why? Mainly because I know nothing about other deodorant brands and Dove feels the safest, but also because I enjoy how it smells. With my lack of deodorant knowledge, I most certainly don’t look into the ingredients…
Ofra Peptide Brightening Mask – Review
I’ve inherited a lot of wonderful qualities from my mother such as a work ethic & fab legs, but I also inherited red cheeks. These red cheeks come and go, depending on what I’m using (and as a skincare enthusiast I’m constantly trying new things = the lack of stability is real), so sometimes they get really red. I’ve had the Ofra Peptide Brightening (previously Whitening) Mask in my collection for almost two years now, and it’s the one & only thing I’ve found that actually helps reduce the redness in my cheeks when they’re overpowering. I usually keep the mask on for 15-20 minutes at night time. It doesn’t…
The Ordinary – High Coverage Foundation Review
Guys. I AM SHOOK TO THE DAMN CORE. I ordered a few Deciem (the Ordinary) products a couple of weeks ago and I think I’m still speechless over how affordable they are. I got a foundation for 6.90. $6.90!!!! Now obviously I was like okay, it’s super affordable yes. But will it work? The answer to that question is………………………….. HELL YEAH! I’m obsessed with this foundation! I was unsure of which shade to get because they had to many options and variations, but I ended up going with…
The Blogging Industry – A Rant
Oh boy. This is a topic that I’ve been putting off writing about for months now, a) because I think a lot of people already have, and b) it’s just pointless because nothing will change. At least not for a while. When I first started blogging, I did it because I wanted a creative outlet. Blogging gave me so many versatile ways to be creative all in one platform: I could write, I could take photos, I could edit photos which I love doing, I can design a website (which I also love doing) and being in such a huge phase with makeup, I felt the most comfortable writing about…
