The Ordinary – High Coverage Foundation Review

Guys. I AM SHOOK TO THE DAMN CORE. I ordered a few Deciem (the Ordinary) products a couple of weeks ago and I think I’m still speechless over how affordable they are.

I got a foundation for 6.90.                                               $6.90!!!!

Now obviously I was like okay, it’s super affordable yes. But will it work?

The answer to that question is…………………………..

I’m obsessed with this foundation! I was unsure of which shade to get because they had to many options and variations, but I ended up going with 2.0N and it turned out to be a perfect match. The foundation is called Coverage Foundation and is supposed to be a high coverage foundation formula. In terms of the high coverage, I would still call this a medium coverage foundation that you can build to high coverage. I love the finish because it’s not matte, it makes my skin look like skin…you can’t even tell I’m wearing foundation to be honest. The coverage is pretty high for a couple of hours but I find it fades a bit on my breakouts throughout the day (however, that doesn’t bother me as I’m very into the “real skin” look). It does get a little shiny on my forehead towards the end of the work day, but that’s only on days where I didn’t set the area with powder. If I set with powder in the morning then it doesn’t do that.

I’ve been searching for a foundation like this for months now. Something that gives me enough coverage but still looks very natural and FFS it’s not even $7, so this is definitely joining the Fenty foundation in my holy grail’s list.

I bought two face oils as well that I’ve been trying out for a week now, and first impressions so far are great! I will obviously do a separate review on these once I’ve used it for a few more weeks.

Who else has used The Ordinary products and what are you loving? This brand is so affordable that I’m going to be trying out many many more things so please give me ALL of your recommendations!
